Step Pet does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your watch. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, no servers, and no internet permission requested. Your step count is read on the device and used only to feed and grow your pet — it never leaves the watch.
None is transmitted. The app does not send any personal information, usage statistics, device identifiers, or location data anywhere. It has no network access.
With your permission, Step Pet reads your daily step count from the watch's step sensor (via Android Activity Recognition and Health Services). Steps are used entirely on-device to award coins, trigger adventures, and grow your pet. The app does not keep a step history, and never uploads or shares your step data.
Your pet's state — name, species, growth, mood, coins, items, adventures, streak, the pets you've raised, today's step snapshot, and your chosen daily goal — is stored locally using Android's DataStore. It never leaves your watch, and uninstalling the app deletes it.
No. The app does not declare any internet permission and cannot make network requests. It runs entirely offline.
We do not use any other permissions. No camera, microphone, contacts, location, calendar, SMS, or storage.
We do not use any third-party services, SDKs, advertising networks, analytics platforms, crash reporters, or A/B testing services.
The app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. (And again — we don't collect any data at all.)
If we ever change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at the same URL.
